23rd Aug - 29th Morning Grange Paddocks BREASTSTROKE / BUTTERFLY
30th Aug - 5th Sept Morning Grange Paddocks DRYSIDE / RELAYS / GAMES (If deserving)

 

All sessions to start 15 minutes early to allow swimmers to STRETCH.

OBJECTIVES:

HOW TO BECOME A BETTER SWIMMER

1st A  STREAMLINE

Body position, Gliding, Kicking (How to increase the distance underwater)

B   DIVING -

Focusing, concentration, Preparation, Reaction (Streamline – Underwater Kick)

C   TURNS –

Approaching the Wall (Distance for wall & Turning point)

Streamline- (Carrying speed of the wall. How to use the wall to go Faster). Kick

 

2nd STROKE DEVELOPMENT

A Stroke Drills, develop co-ordination, improve feel for the water & increase distance per stroke.

B Learn the importance of stroke counting & Distance per Stroke efficiency

C Learning Pacing against the clock
